All are delicately furnished and fully equipped with the convenience of modern appliances that make self-catering a pleasure. We are situated in the beautiful coastal town of Sedgefield, in the heart of the world famous Garden Route, between Wilderness and Knysna. Excellent service and beautiful, romantic cottages. The accommodation was super and much more than we expected. The restaurant and bar nearby did not affect us and the staff were very helpful. The rooms and restaurant were very clean, neat and well presented. We stayed in a 'chalet' with two bedrooms, both en suite, and this was very convenient as we had friends with us. In addition, we were able to make use of the fridge as the ladies had bought fresh produce at the Saturday market, the reason for the visit. The ideal place to stay if you're visiting Sedgefield for market purposes. The meals in the restaurant were also well presented and delicious. Second time we have been and when in Sedgefield will always stay there. Teams are expected to navigate using a map and landmarks. Teams must be able to operate in harsh remote environments in all weather conditions. So. want to enjoy all the benefits offered by stage racing, but don't want to die en route doing so? With more than 100 activities spread over ten days there will be no shortage of fun. The programme includes many sporting and lifestyle events from swimming, bowls, and hiking to food and wine-tastings, live music, a special children’s programme and of course, lots and lots of oysters! Being one of South Africa’s most popular festivals with huge appeal for sports lovers, families and those in search of a great party, this year’s event is not to be missed! The route is scenic, challenging and riders are encouraged to train sufficiently for this event in order to maximise the enjoyment of the experience. In order to maintain the quality of the event AND THE REGISTRATION it has been decided by the Lions Clubs of Uniondale and Knysna that only 4200 entries will be made available in Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
