What you should know about Forest View Guest House
A sumptuous full English breakfast is served each morning which is guaranteed to satisfy even the fussiest tastes. Where possible special dietary needs will be catered for. For your convenience, your hosts Ken and Jenny stay in a cottage on the premises and will ensure that your stay is enjoyable and will endeavor to meet your every need. (tea, coffee, rusks with a kettle is available in each room) No minimum number on the nights that are booked (one night bookings allowed). Early breakfasts or packed breakfasts ( can be arranged ) for guests who need to leave earlier than breakfast time. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to confirm all direct reservations. If an alternative check in time needs to be arranged please let us know and we will do our best to assist you. A s a seaside village, Sedgefield lends itself towards a tranquil lifestyle where residents and visitors can walk or cycle freely through the picturesque streets of our town. Being surrounded by some seven vleis (wetlands), the bird life and fishing are in abundance as well as being a haven for fauna and flora alike. W ater sports and leisure activities are available in and around Sedgefield, with two mashie golf courses and full golf courses in George and Knysna. For the more adventurous, paragliding and hang gliding is a major attraction in the village, with the launch site situated opposite the guesthouse. Whale watching, hiking and many other activities can be enjoyed almost all year round as the temperate climate is ideal. Restaurants, coffee shops and other eateries are within walking distance of the B&B, providing a wide, tasty range of cuisine to meet everyone’s cravings, from take-outs to elegant dinners for those special occasions. Windmaster Paragliding Academy is based in Sedgefield in the heart of the Garden Route, which has many magnificent coastal & coastal thermic sites, all in close proximity to one another. Scarab Village is Sedgefield’s one-stop arts and craft market on the scenic Garden Route in South Africa where the visitor can browse through the permanent Scarab Paper and Craft Centre, visit the Saturday Craft Market or enjoy a French-Moroccan bistro-style meal at Café François.
